My name is Lidia Herrero Vilches, and my artistic self is called Lila Latorre.<\/p>\n

You could say that I\u2019m still in the process of discovering who I am in the art world and what I can truly contribute. For the past seven years, I\u2019ve mainly worked in fashion design. Through my brand, Lila Latorre, I\u2019ve sought to express what I carry inside through artistic garments that have walked the runway. Recently, I\u2019ve been delving into the world of performance art, as I believe it\u2019s the most beautiful and complete way to see and understand the garments I create \u2014 since through movement, they come to life and gain meaning. All my creations tell a story, highlighting women, freedom, care for nature, and peace (among other themes). <\/span><\/p>\n

For years, I\u2019ve held fashion shows both in cities and in rural areas, giving greater importance to the latter, as I find it deeply meaningful to bring art through fashion to people who don\u2019t often have the opportunity to attend shows elsewhere. <\/span><\/p>\n

And in this way, I also stand for the idea that there are artists in rural areas \u2014 and that we want to stay.<\/span><\/p>\n
